Where to stay

Méribel is spread over several neighbourhoods, so where you stay shapes the feel of the weekend. July is peak summer season, so book early, and check that your hotel is open in July, as some mountain hotels close outside the ski season.

Les Allues and Méribel Village

Quiet and traditional, and close to the church in Les Allues. Good if you want calm and gentle walks.

Méribel Centre

The liveliest part, with shops, restaurants and lifts close by.

Méribel-Mottaret

Higher up, near Lac de Tuéda, and the easiest base for the mountains.

Hotels worth a look

Special occasion

Le Grand Coeur & Spa, Le Coucou and Le Kaïla.

Comfortable and central
